   2 Author Comment Hey, I know where that is! It looks like we’re starting to build up a critical mass of blogger/riders. I love that this trail is right near my house but the path to get there does come at a cost. Karsten and I take our bikes out the back door, into the alley, a few short blocks over and — this is the only bad part, and it’s a doozy — along the road next to the biosolids plant, and then we’re at the trail head. It’s less than five minutes from our back door to the beginning of the trail, but wow. I’m hopeful that once they finish the improvements to that treatment plant it won’t be such a bad ride over to the trail, but right now we nearly pass out from the rancid stench while we make our way over there. The only thing I think about as I ride past there breathing as shallowly as I can is: I feel so sorry for the people who work there. Reply to this comment.
