Hey, I even said the tofu burrito wasn’t bad and thought about you while I was eating it. 8^)

Yeah man, that tofu burrito was pretty kickass, I thought. Even Karsten liked it, and he doesn't usually like tofu. And he got the veggie quesadilla, which was really tasty. And I thought the veggie mix and cactus salsa were good.

My main complaint was with the chips and salsa. The mild salsa was a little too ketchup-y and the hot salsa was a little too much like eating straight hot sauce -- that is, more heat than taste. And the chips were fried too hard. (Not that I didn't eat too many anyway.)

But otherwise, I really enjoyed it.

The rest of the food in the three visits I had, not so much.

I stand by my review and wish them luck. I really wanted a good neighborhood Mexican restaurant, but after three strikes, I'll never be able to talk RUABelle into going again. Bummer.

Maybe I can get her to go to the coffee shop while I sneak across the street for another try...
