Powerbooks are lovely, aren't they? I have an iBook myself, which is a little less powerful but still a sweet piece of hardware.

*hugs* to you for the stress of dealing with your father.

Yay for new computer! I love my powerbook. Not having personal stuff on the work computer is a wise, wise habit.

Glad you're being good to yourself.

Glad to hear someone else considers it a real perk and not just a frivolous feature. ;-)

I'm very glad to hear that you *know* you can't -- and shouldn't try to -- spend all your time thinking about your father and your grief. There can often be a lot of guilt about that sort of thing, but it's the only way to keep yourself sane.

Congratulations on the new "baby"! :-) The PowerBook completely rocks. I love mine, and the new ones are even better.

Mike really gets a lot of use out of the watching-DVDs-in-hotels feature - especially when he travels to tiny towns where there's nothing to do and crappy cable.

Sending good vibes for your dad and family...
