Something to look forward to!
I booked a cruise this morning! It’s only a four-day cruise, but it’s both the week of our meeting anniversary and Karsten’s birthday, and I bet it’ll be just what the doctor should have ordered.
And another cool thing: we’re recording a song demo! We were at the studio tonight and they laid down the instrumental tracks, and I’d forgotten what a thrill that is! Tomorrow night we go back to work with the singer and get the vocal tracks. I’m really looking forward to it.
Things are still really rough, and I’m still having a hell of a battle to enjoy myself at all, but at least some really good stuff is showing up to help brighten up the darkness.
Yay cruise!

This is where we’re going. I’m excited about going to the Bahamas for the first time, and I love Key West, so it should be fun.
And we’re demoing “By Surprise.” I’ll put the MP3 up as soon as I can.

I miss you SO much. I’m delighted that y’all are cruisin’ (?!); it sounds like precisely the right thing to do. When is the anniversary?
