Burberry coat victory!
Remember the Burberry coat I bought for $20 at a thrift store? Well, I listed it on eBay last weekend, and the auction ended tonight.
It sold for $104.39.
Rock on!

That’s awesome. I have got to scour the thrift stores more often.

What are you going to do with the profit?!

I don’t know, maybe quit my job and live in luxury.

Scores like that are pretty rare, but they do happen once in a while.

Hmmm. Or you could get a pimp cup!

Dude, those are great. I bookmarked the page so I can check back often, since their styles vary.
(I could totally make those for certain people’s Christmas presents. So don’t go ordering one — you just might be one of the lucky recipients 11 months from now.)

No way. That’s insane!

I cant wait 11 months! I’ve got to order one before the spring when I start going out to the pretenious bars around town again. I’m going to carry my pimp cup with me if they will let me in with it

Come to that, why are you even waiting for the spring? Pretentious bars are already pretentious, even in the winter.

Of course, since I listed it a week ago, I ordered an upgrade to Quicken (since they’ve just announced that, starting in April, they won’t be supporting my version anymore) and had to order a new battery for my Clie, neither of which were planned expenses, and the sum total of which is over $84.39. So my wonderful profit just barely covers the week’s unplanned expenses, but hey, it helps.
