Mmm, do-nothing day. I'd like this to be one but it won't be. Maybe tomorrow or Sunday. Glad you got to have one.

And I just wanted to say, I've had coworkers like you, with the caring enought to do this sort of thing, and it's WONDERFUL! It always makes people happy. Go you. :)

Yeah, that's a good one. I'd like to find it in a bigger size, though. I was thinking maybe three-inch diameter cookies. Still, good idea! I'll see if there is a stamping specialty store anywhere.

Speaking of that, my shopping is almost complete. How's yours?

I just need to buy a little more yarn - I'm knitting all my wintergifts this year, and have fuzzy felted slippers for the siblings all done, plus some too-cute little felted purses for some friends. The women in my knitting polygon* will be getting decorated tins to store their needles in, courtesy of all the bottles of good scotch I've bought or been given over the past several years - I knew those tall, round tins would be good for something sooner or later!

I vote for Wear Nothing Day, too. (-:

I have a pretty good idea for your earth cookies. Go to your local craft store, or if you're lucky enough to have a speciality stamping store you could pick up an earth or possibly Atlas/earth stamp. Just make sure you denote it as a food class item since inky cookies might taste yucky ;-)

It came to mind because I recalled that its origins had to do with stew. After reading what I'd written in this post, it felt like cooked-up leftovers, which seemed appropriate for the day après Thanksgiving, non?

I ran my electric radiator in the bedroom last night. In fact it got so freaking warm in here I had to turn it off.

I'm not buying a damn thing today either, and I refuse to get out in the crowds that will be out all over town.

I live down by Hickory Hollow Mall, and I just know that area will be HELL.

You mentioned pizza. I now want pizza.

Yep... that's gonna be lunch.

But actually I'm commenting because I'm curious about the post title. Gallimaufry - the word rings a bell, but I can't place it...?
