Ah yes, falling asleep in clothes. Even that feels a little gross in the morning, as I recall.

Depending on the clothes and what one was doing in them, yeah. It usually winds up hurting my back, since my standard clothes involve jeans and jeans tend to get twisted around my waist when I sleep in ‘em.

I guess I'm just easily grossed out lately. Gross, gross, gross. What am I, thirteen?

Heh. Yeah, if you count in, like, base 6…

Heh. That's a great lyric.

I wear makeup, like, twelve times a year (used to be more when I spent more time onstage - now it's mostly for interviews and pseudo-trial situations at school), and I go to bed in it regularly, because I usually forget I've got it on, but I get exactly what you're saying. For me, that level of depressed tiredness is expressed by falling asleep in my clothes because I'm too wiped on too many levels to bother shucking them and finding a t-shirt. (I have to be either flat-out exhausted or completely drunk to fall asleep in my shoes, which is another level of personal disarray entirely.)

I'm terribly torn over here between "Yeah, so I resemble that remark! So what? You wanna make something of it? You wanna take this outside?" and "They love me! They really love me!"

::is terribly torn::

Ouch.

We can ingest up to 20kg of lipstick in a lifetime

One woman can ingest up to 4 pounds of lipstick in a lifetime.

We can ingest up to 60kg of lipstick in a lifetime

NOT
After reading Sibylle Preuschat's article Loser Lipsticks (NOW, August 8-14) and learning that "a woman who wears lipstick every day will end up eating about a pound of the stuff every year," I eyed my tube of Burt's Bees lipstick warily. Then a quick check of the label (net weight: 2.3 grams or .08 ounces) and some fiddling with a calculator showed a woman would need to eat 197 tubes of lipstick to ingest a pound (454 grams).

I agree with Ms. Preuschat that women should be concerned about potentially toxic ingredients in their cosmetics, but unless a woman sits down at a cosmetics counter with a knife and fork, it's unlikely she'll eat a pound of lipstick.

Really? Doesn't it feel gross to go to bed with makeup on? It always does to me when I forget or am too tired to take it off.

I heard a lyric in a country song a week ago that was something like "Fell asleep in my makeup / Didn't even get my teeth brushed" and I was explaining to Karsten how the songwriter couldn't have picked a better combination of statements to convey (at least to many women) the feeling of grossness that comes from being too depressed to take care of oneself. He grimaced, so I think he got the message.
