Actual salon haircut!
New hairdo! I don’t have any pictures yet, but I splurged on a salon visit yesterday (I mean really splurged) and got my hair cut, colored, and highlighted. It’s now a medium-dark brown all over with deep-red and caramel-blond streaks throughout. It’s kind of wild and bold, and I think I love it. 
The cut isn’t much different from what I had done a few weeks ago but it’s more even and much better shaped.
Yay for new hair!

I redid my user pic and modified in manually in Fireworks to add the blond and red streaks. So this is somewhat close.
I’ll see if I can get a real picture taken sometime in the next few days.

Okay, you’re freaking me out. *I* just got my bleachy blonde hair redone medium-dark brown all over with deep-red and caramel-blond streaks throughout.

I don’t know if we know each other, but Salon FX is where I got my hair done, so I thought, hey, you got the same color I did, maybe you went to the same place. And you did! Weird. Did Shannon do yours?

Unless you work at Vandy, we probably don’t know each other…it looks like you’re a songwriter? That’s really cool, I admire creative people as I’m entirely left-brained and could never do what you do!

Whew! That was getting too weird. Is Frank the tall, lanky guy, maybe early 40s, not super attractive, recently married? I met some stylist while Shannon was doing my hair who fit that description and “Frank” sounds right, but I could be making it up.
Anyway, I work at HCA but I’m an aspiring songwriter. What do you do at Vandy?

LMAO! You are dead on, he just got married to….argh, I’m blanking on her name…something Russian. She is the young, cute white-blond girl who works at the front desk doing reception/appts. He is so nice and great with color, though I think he was a little taken aback at my desire to go red. You know it’s bad when your stylist giggles as the foil comes out.
My offical job title is ‘bioinformaticist’ but that’s just fancy speak for saying I know how to use software to analyze biological data. What do you do at HCA?

See, now I’m just curious about when you got it done. Because he saw Shannon doing mine this way this past Saturday and commented about how nice the colors were. Was it before or after that?
Oh, and did he flirt with you the whole time? I liked him, but he seemed like an insatiable flirt. Not that there’s anything wrong with that; I’m just wondering.

Yeah, Frank is a big time flirt, but I think that’s just part of his personality. He is very devoted to his wife, he just jokes around with everyone. According to my calendar, I got my hair done Sept 15th. Shannon must be the girl who works in the chair next to him, with dark brown curly hair??
I think next time I’m losing the blonde entirely and going darker brown with more red. I’m so tired of being bleached out.
