Sandra Bullock, redux

Heh.

I was doing an image search on Sandra Bullock after a discussion Karsten and I had yesterday about the supposed similar overall appearance we share. (I think it’s an overstatement. I only see it very subtly and very rarely.) Anyway, I found this. (Edit: I should add that it depicts her in a T-shirt with a profanity on it, in case your workplace has strict policies.) I love it. Want that T-shirt. :-)

[And I will say that out of all of the images I looked through, I can see some similarity between us in this one and this one, if I could have my hair and makeup done by the same professionals. :-) ]

I don’t see it, either. Though I think I’ve told you that before. Then again, people used to tell me that I looked like Kristy McNicholl, and I always thought they were crazy. :-)

I can see that a little. I play this game with Karsten all the time where we try to figure out what people’s looks, sounds, and/or personalities are made up of. It goes something like this:

Me: That guy on stage looks like the love child of Rob Lowe and Kevin Nealon.
Karsten: Yeah! With some Nicolas Cage mixed in.
Me: Yes! Exactly! (Laughter. A moment passes in silence.) And he sounds like Tom Petty.
Karsten: Totally! With a little Tom Waits around the edges.

And so on. So I see the Kristy McNicholl, but I’d have to say there are other elements, too. Only I can’t think of them at the moment, which is really unusual. Must need more caffeine. :-)

I don’t see the resemblance with Sandra Bullock. I think you look like Jennifer Westfeldt. I found it extremely distracting watching Kissing Jessica Stein.

      Love the shirt :)

Someone once came up to me a in a bar and told me that I looked like LeAnn Rimes.

I had a friend who believed I looked like Beverly D’Angelo.

      I don’t see either.

Huh! That’s a new one on me. It’s very flattering! She’s lovely.

Perhaps not, but neither is a bad comparison. :-) They both have very chiseled features. Do you? I can’t tell from your icon.

Hrm. I guess I have a chin very similar to LeAnn Rimes — the cleft, in particular. Maybe around the cheekbones. As for Beverly D’Angelo, perhaps the strong jaw and high forehead. I guess, now that you point that out, perhaps I can see what they were saying.

As for your supposed similarities to Sandra Bullock — I can see where they say that, especially in the two you pointed out.

I don’t think you look like SB. But last weekend Andrea had 2 different people tell her she looked like her.
