Um, wow!
Edmonton police are trying to better understand discrimination by walking around holding hands in non-gay neighborhoods. The cops said they felt intense awareness of their own security, especially when walking by a construction crew.

Is that the Canadian Edmonton? (i.e. Alberta?) I think there’s one in the UK, probably a few in the US. Maybe even elsewhere in Canada, as well. Just askin’.

I don’t know. The other sentence in the news brief says
So it’s not the US. Do they call police leaders “constable” in Canada?

It’s Canada. I googled for “constable steve camp edmonton police” and came back with this:
